Presenter Profile

Chris Cheline
Guest Artist, Douglas County School District
I have been in the video business since 2000. Much of my experience has come from working daily in television news and in school districts as a Photojournalist – telling people's stories through video every day.
I spent 2000 – 2008 working as a Photojournalist in Colorado Springs and then Denver. Every day was a new story. My job was to make it interesting. I took a break from the news business for four years to learn the production side of things. I produced commercials and promotional videos.
My love of storytelling eventually drew me back into the news business at KUSA in Denver. I worked alongside some of the most talented people in the industry. I have won three Emmys, three Edward R. Murrow awards, Colorado Broadcaster's Association awards, and several Nation Press Photographer Association (nationally and regionally) awards through the years.
These days I am telling the stories of the amazing students in the Douglas County School District. It's a perfect fit having three boys with my wife that are or will be in the district.
