Jeffrey Parker is a Certified Teacher of Knight-Thompson Speechwork® and a Certified Associate Teacher of Fitzmaurice Voicework®.  An actor, director, vocal coach, and educator of national renown, Jeffrey currently serves as an Assistant Professor of Theatre at MSU Denver, and a Teaching Artist at the Denver Center for the Performing Arts.  MFA – University of California, Irvine  BA – UCLA.

    Accent Acquisition – Accents of England

    In this workshop, participants will learn the accent acquisition techniques of Knight-Thompson Speechwork: a focused, tactile, creative approach that helps students find and master their vocal tract configurations. In this participatory workshop, students will learn how to find accent samples, how to listen for maximum effectiveness, and also learn how to apply these skills to two British accents: Received Pronunciation and Cockney.
