Landin Melendez
Guest Artist, Community College of Denver
Landin Melendez is a performer, director, playwright, historian, and activist from the Denver Metro area. She received BA in Theatre, Film, and Television from the University of Colorado Denver concurrent with a BA in History. Landin holds an MFA in Theatre: Contemporary Performance from Naropa University in Boulder, Colorado. Her original play Protectors was presented at the Molly Mook New Plays Festival in Silverton, Colorado in 2018 and Protectors was presented on Auraria campus in the spring of 2019. Landin had taught Acting, Theatre Appreciation, and Production at the Community College of Denver since Fall 2019. She directed the two casts of The Lightning Thief: The Percy Jackson Musical by Rob Rokicki and Joe Tracz at Factory Five Five in spring of 2022 as well as the CCD Performing Arts Departments’ production of Twelve Ophelias by Caridad Svich.
