Maximillian Peterson

Max has been a professional stage hand for over 18 years. Working fulltime and freelancing in a variety of venues throughout the Denver Metro Area. He has also toured North America with Broadway Tours, including "Blue Man Group", and "Phantom of the Opera". He has also toured internationally with "Disney's Beauty and the Beast". Along with his vast experience in live production and theatre, he has also served in a variety of positions within the Stagehand Union in Denver, IATSE #7. He has served as house steward at the Buell Theatre, as well as Dispatcher for IATSE #7. More recently he served as Stage Vice President, before assuming his current role as President. Max is passionate about ensuring all workers have dignity, respect, and decent conditions while at work, especially Entertainment workers. Educating young and emerging theatre artists about the role of Unions, and the strength found in Collective Bargaining is vital to healthy and sustainable careers in the Entertainment Industry. We all must continually work ensure skilled, effective, and healthy technicians for generations to come!
