Michelle has been sewing garments for most of her life. Her first official costume design credit was as a senior in High School with Aristophanes’ “The Birds” and she has been making/designing costumes ever since. She worked in the Costume Construction Shop at Nebraska Wesleyan University under the tutelage of Phyllis Blanke during her college years and built or altered hundreds of costumes and garments. Her professional credits include productions in Lincoln, NE, Chicago, IL, and New York City with Gad’s Hill Theatre Company, artwork reproduction costumes for The Art Institute of Chicago, and various other local and regional productions. She has happily been serving her parent volunteer hours finding and making costumes for Two Roads Charter School in Arvada for the past 6 years.
