Nick Taylor

Guest Artist, Community College of Denver

Dr. Nick Taylor serves as Chair of Performing Arts and Professor of Theatre at The Community College of Denver. He is an enthusiastic collaborator, a confirmed rabble-rouser, solo performance artist, and resistant pedagog. This is his fourteenth year at CCD. Prior, he taught at Northeastern State University in Oklahoma and at MacMurray College in Illinois. He has taught, guest lectured, or served as a guest artist-in-residence throughout the Berkshire & Appalachian Mountains, the Orphan Girl Theatre (Butte, MT), Theatre in the Park & MacMurray College, (Illinois), Colorado State University, Denver’s Dangerous Theatre, and the University of Colorado Denver. He served as Chair and Vice-Chair of the Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival Region VII from 2016-2020.  He is scheduled to direct All I Really Need to Know I Learned in Kindergarten this spring at CCD.
