Presenter Profile

Steven is an Associate Professor at the University of Denver, where he is the Chair & Technical Director for the Department of Theatre. At DU, he teaches Stage Management, Sound Design, Properties, Lighting and Stage Technology. Steven's current area of focus is DU's Tech Theatre Intern Project, which provides DU students with paid opportunities to work with professional companies and designers in a supportive setting that prepares them for work in the entertainment industry. Recent TTIP projects include American Son and Heroes of the Fourth Turning for Curious Theatre Company, BETC's Touring Theatre Truck, and Footloose for Parker Arts.  Previously, Steven has worked with Athena Project, Boulder Ensemble Theatre Company, Parker Arts/Sasquatch, Little Theatre of the Rockies, Colorado Shakespeare Festival, Phamaly, and the Great River Shakespeare Festival.
