Steven McDonald

Guest Artist, University of Denver

Steven is an Associate Professor at the University of Denver, where he serves as the Technical Director/Production Manager for the Department of Theatre. At DU, Steven teaches Stage Management, Sound Design, Properties, Lighting and Stage Technology. Recent design work includes Sound and Lighting Designs for the CU New Opera Workshop, Spamalot at PACE, Evita  at Phamaly, and The Wave That Set The Fire for Athena Project, as well as designs for Little Theatre of the Rockies, Boulder Ensemble Theatre Company, Systryst Theatre, and Edge Theatre Company, Steven has worked for a variety of performing arts organizations, including the Seattle Rep, South Coast Repertory Theatre, Curious Theatre Company, the Colorado Dance Festival, Rocky Mountain Revels, and 22 seasons with the Colorado Shakespeare Festival. Steven earned his MFA in Theatre Design & Production from the University of California, Irvine.
