Grotowski Physical Acting Worskhop

Advanced / Acting
Presented by Stacey DAngelo

Polish theatre practitioner Jerzy Grotowski is best known for his intense actor training processes in the 1960s and 70s. Grotowski and his actors experimented with the physical, spiritual and ritualistic aspects of theatre, the nature of role, and the relationship between actor and spectator.

This workshop is designed to break free of limitations and realise your full potential as an actor on stage. Students will explore physical and vocal exercises designed to express what we think and feel through movement, spoken text and stillness. The work will give actors physical skills for fully expressing their imaginations and their personalities.
